A Custom Furniture Shop
For Generations Ahead
I build pieces that can be passed down for generations – I believe that’s what a custom piece of furniture should be. I use joinery that has been around for centuries and is proven to last, and a level of craftsmanship that honors the tradition of longevity. The most important thing to me is where this piece of furniture is going now and where it will be in 50 years. I am inspired to build pieces that will speak to generations, not trends. I believe in lifetime pieces. I am honored to have pieces in my home that are over 100 years old and still perform their function beautifully with timeless style

I hand select every piece of wood, design the pieces, work with a combination of hand tools and machinery to build each piece and I finish all pieces by hand with a selection of oils, varnishes, shellac and wax.
Wood selection – typically I work with Walnut and Mahogany. Selection is based on figure, pattern and grain. All of my wood is FSC certified, which means it is sourced in an environmentally friendly and socially responsible way
My common joinery is housed mortise and tenon and dovetail.
